The Ministry of Tourism has already prepared a strategy aimed at attracting investments in this sector, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said on Saturday. We expect that the summer tourist season will be very successful. However, we should make sure we offer a high-quality tourist product. Thus, Bulgaria would turn into a stable and popular tourist destination. In Minister Angelkova’s words, the tourism strategies have been developed together with the local business, especially in the field of personnel training. Nikolina Angelkova also announced that the Ministry of Tourism has been preparing a regime of mixed concessions, so that the concessionaires can also become investors and show a long-term interest in that field. Bulgaria has unique potential in cultural, historical and spa tourism. That is why the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism is making great efforts to promote those types of tourism, Minister Angelkova further pointed out.
