Energy liberalization and diversification of natural gas suppliers remain a priority for Bulgaria, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has said at his meeting in Sofia with the European Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager. The president has said that Bulgaria works actively for the cause of better energy connectivity in Southeastern Europe and is grateful for European Commission support. In general estimates, the liberalization of the energy sector will contribute to cutting prices paid end customers.
