Most high school drop-outs in Bulgaria are unemployed

Around 13 percent of Bulgarians dropped out of secondary school in 2015 and never continued their education, a Eurostat report indicates.
Only 3 percent of them have found a job and only half say they ever intended to look for a job. According to the same report, an average of 11 percent of young Europeans dropped out of the system of education in the 28 EU members. The percentage is highest in Spain and Malta – around 20 percent, and lowest in Croatia – 2.8 percent.
