Bulgarians travel more as tourists

909,000 Bulgarians have travelled during the second quarter of this year as tourists – 81 percent only inside the country, 16 percent only abroad, the rest in the country and abroad, the National Statistical Institute says.

Compared to the second quarter of 2015, this means an increase of 10.3 percent, with travels in the country and abroad going up by 112 percent, travels inside the country only – by 19.1 percent, whereas travels abroad are down by 20.2 percent.
