56-km fence section under construction on Bulgaria-Turkey border

A 56-km fence section from is under construction on the Bulgaria-Turkey border, and I hope this section will be completed in two months, Deputy PM and Interior Minister Rumiana Bachvarova has said taking a question in parliament. She has explained that there are reports of re-direction of migrant routes across points without a fence. The total length of the Bulgaria-Turkey border is 259 km. The length of the fence that will be built is 229 km. Bachvarova has said that in the case of a large flow of refugees they will be accommodated in caravans so as to prevent their free movement and to retain control on them
