Bulgaria’s outgoing Premier and leader of GERB party Boyko Borissov returned the exploratory mandate for establishment of a new cabinet within the current National Assembly shortly after he received it from the country’s head of state Rossen Plevneliev. Before the start of the official procedure President Plevneliev voiced hopes that despite the previously announced intentions of the two biggest political parties that they would return the exploratory mandate, a new cabinet within this National Assembly will be formed with the third exploratory mandate. Thus, Bulgaria will avoid Parliamentary crisis, President Plevneliev said.
