The Ministers of Transport, Information Technology and Communications of Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia are to send a common request to the EC to support the project of a cross-border infrastructure for Internet Access in the Northern Balkans. Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Valeri Borisov visited Bucharest to sign the document. Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia note in their request to the EC that the project can contribute significantly to the control of the migration flow through the Northern Balkans to Western Europe. Moreover, the project will contribute to the establishment of a better partnership environment in some fields such as: environment protection in the Danube region, transport, tourism and telemedicine, the Transport Ministers of the three countries further contend.
