СнимкаOne can spot their traces up in the mountain snow – the large footsteps of a grown man and the delicate holes that only cat paws can leave. The duo is inseparable in its passion for travels.
Danail Neshev and his cat Heidi have been on the road for ten months now, getting acquainted with Bulgaria’s best spots. We can meet them mostly in the Rhodope Mountain through the winter, where the small adventurous animal is brave enough to step deep into the snow, to run across skiing slopes and to fly in the air in an open lift. Then she shares her adventures online, in Facebook. Puffy Curiosity – Heidi has nearly 4,000 friends who are obsessed with her life and are waiting impatiently to see ‘daddy’s’ small stories, dreaming to meet the brave kitten at least once.
Снимка‘A cat turns into the happiest creature outside, where there are adventures and voyages. That is why Heidi is everywhere with me,’ Danail Neshev says. ‘Now the latest communication technologies allow me to share all of our adventures, but I wouldn’t like to turn Heidi into a star. People have their own pets and I only want to show what one can do with a little animal like this. I also want to charge them with beauty. I hope that this will influence others to follow my steps…’
Dani took the puffy little kitten when it was 20 days old and mounted it on his motorcycle at once. Heidi turned out to be fearless like him – they were both simply adventurers. However, how come everybody loves Heidi?
Снимка‘They love her due to her appearance – she is a very fine and gracious creature, impressive with her charm and obedience. The other thing is that those who like us are similar to us in their temper – we like doing the same things,’ Heidi’s owner thinks.
Being a watchmaker, calligrapher and many other things, Dani is also a good psychologist who has managed to comprehend the nature of a cat – his preferred pet.
‘Cats are incredibly smart, but many people tend to avoid them, because they want you to be self-denying. Cats live their own life, with goals and direction. Whenever complying with this, one can feel unexpected reactions and gratitude that sometimes even people fail to give. However, you need to forget a bit about yourself first. Unfortunately most people are really selfish – they only want to receive endless love. It’s easy with the dog, it always does it and waves its tail, but you need fines with the cat, you have to understand her, in order to receive what’s in her nature…’
Obviously the example of Heidi and her owner sends a simple message towards people – try living in harmony with yourself and the world around and see what happens next.

‘I tend to live here and now, not in the plans of a future,’ Dani says. ‘I only set some milestones and the rest is whatever happens, regarding our travels. However, I will do my best to provide this adventurous life to Heidi - at the seaside or in the mountains, everywhere with me. My goal for years has been the interesting life, creating memories and my cat simply shares it with me…’ Danail Neshev says in conclusion.
