Bulgaria’s cabinet has alleviated the procedures for registration of seasonal workers from non-EU countries for a period of up to 90 days through amendments to the implementing regulation of the Labor Migration and Mobility Act. The amendments are expected to allow employers in tourism to hire the necessary work force in due time. The number of documents necessary for access to the Bulgarian labor market of highly-qualified workers from non-EU countries with regard to obtaining a Blue Card used mainly in the IT and communications sectors has been reduced.
