Traffic at Bulgaria-Greece checkpoints hampered due to large-scale inspections launched by Greek Border Police

Traffic at Bulgaria-Greece border checkpoints has been hampered, because the Greek Border Police launched large-scale inspections of all vehicles entering that country, Secretary General of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior Chief Commissioner Mladen Marinov announced. In his words, the Bulgarian authorities have undertaken the necessary measures to ease traffic. According to the report of the Director of the Bulgarian Chief Directorate Border Police, traffic has been alleviated in the recent hours. We continue to monitor the situation closely and are ready to take additional measures if necessary, Chief Commissioner Marinov added.
