The forum is held on occasion of the World Refugee Day and was organized by the Bulgarian Red Cross and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. One person leaves his birthplace every three seconds, Mathijs Le Rutthe underlined.Bulgaria’s Vice President Iliana Yotova said in return that the media and the politicians paid high price to populism and quite often the refugees’ destiny is misunderstood and they are presented only as a global threat.
