German investments in Bulgaria have reached almost 3 billion euros and Germany has established itself as the leading investor in this country. This was what Bulgarian President Rumen Radev pointed out during a ceremony, at which he awarded German Ambassador to Bulgaria, Detlef Lingemann, with the "Stara Planina" Order First Degree.
The ambassador has received the highest Bulgarian state award for his outstanding merits for the development of Bulgarian-German relations.
