Strong interest in Balkan tourist destinations has been shown in the first day of the 33rd International Tourism Exhibition held in the city of Thessaloniki (Greece). There are over 600 tourist pavilions at the event. Bulgaria is represented by hoteliers and travel agencies. Participants are showing high interest in the winter resorts of Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo. The Greek citizens and the European participants are also interested in the Bulgarian spa destinations, religious, cultural, historical and congress tourism. The European travel agencies are showing interest in Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast.
