Bulgaria will help Montenegro open last negotiating chapters with EU

In its capacity of President of the Council of the EU, Bulgaria will help Montenegro open the last three chapters in its negotiations with Brussels, said Tsveta Karayancheva, President of the Bulgarian National Assembly at a meeting in Sofia with a parliamentary delegation from Montenegro, headed by Ivan Brajovic, President of the parliament of Montenegro.

Discussions centred on the European integration of the Western Balkans as a top priority for the Bulgarian EU Presidency. Ivan Brajovic stressed that good bilateral political relations are fundamental to the development of good economic relations and relations in tourism. He thanked Bulgaria for its support for Montenegro's NATO membership.
