A unique icon of St. Nikolai was donated to the Troyan Monastery. It is made at Dimchovski art studio with the size of 150 x 100 centimeters. The casting of the icon is made through an old Georgian technique of metal working. The icon is gold and silver plated with pearls and semi-precious stones. Photo: BTA

Maps of the Old Continent from the 13th through the 19th century are presented in the exposition “Europe in old maps”. The collection is on display at National Library St. St. Cyril and Methodius in Sofia. The movie “Aga” of director Milko Lazarov found a place in the contest programme of the 68th International Film Festival in Berlin. In this way for the first time in the last 29 years a Bulgarian fiction movie is to take part in Berlinale.
