Hungary will always support cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in a statement after his meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. He added that the focus of talks were not bilateral ties but common European issues. Among them were the future of Europe with a particular focus on the Balkans, guarding the borders, as well as the issue of migration.

Mr. Orban pointed out that Hungary would always support cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey because the EU border should be guarded and agreements must be reached on this issue, FOCUS News Agency reported.

Hungary is also to devise an offer concerning migration, according to which the EU should "focus its thought towards guarding its borders," Viktor Orban said in Sofia, quoted by Dnevnik Daily.

"The agreement with Turkey is beneficial to all European countries. Bulgaria is the most reliable border of the EU," Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said. Security centers, or so-called hot spots, must be close to areas of conflict. In this way people could return after the end of the war, Borissov said reiterating his view on the topic.
