In 2017 Bulgaria welcomed 8.9 million foreign tourists, or 9.3% more than in 2016. In 2018 the number of scheduled flights to the country’s Black Sea airports Varna and Burgas increased with 15%-25%, which is a clear indicator that a very busy and successful tourist season is ahead, Minister Angelkova pointed out.
