Bulgaria’s economy to grow with over 3% in 2018: Bulgarian Academy of Sciences

Bulgaria’s economy will grow with 3%-3.5% in 2018 and in the mid-term, economic experts from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences forecast. According to the experts, the expected growth of this country’s economy will be mainly due to increased local consumption, exports and investments. However, the Director of the Institute for Economic Research at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Professor Alexander Tasev noted that the expected growth is not sufficient for Bulgaria, which has to catch up with the other the EU countries’ standards.
