Bulgaria calls on China to speed up export procedures for agricultural goods

Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Rumen Porozhanov, has called on his Chinese counterpart, Han Changfu, to speed up procedures for exporting agricultural goods to China.

Minister Porozhanov pointed out that procedures for export of milk and dairy products have reached their final stage. The issue of exports of tobacco to China, where temporary restrictions on EU tobacco exports are currently in force, is pending. Yesterday, the two ministers opened a contact office of the Shenzhen Cross-Border E-Commerce Association.

The office will serve the Logistics Center and the Electronic Commerce Pavilion for Agricultural and Other Products in the 16+ 1 (Central and Eastern Europe + China) Countries. The center is located in Trakia Economic Zone, in the Bulgarian city of  Plovdiv.
