Bulgaria’s Burgas hosts European Maritime Day 2018.

The most significant event related to maritime policy of the EU Member States - European Maritime Day 2018, is held today and tomorrow in the Bulgarian Black Sea port city of Burgas.

The forum, which has existed for 10 years now, includes Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Karmenu Vella, Ministers, MEPs and maritime experts from all over Europe.

So far, hosts of the event have been the cities of Brussels, Rome, Gothenburg, Athens and Bremen. At the same time, a high-level ministerial meeting of the Black Sea countries is also held in Burgas.
