At a meeting in Sofia with members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives in the European Union (COREPER), Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said efforts towards integration of the Western Balkans into the EU should continue.

Speaking about migration, the Prime Minister commented that Bulgaria was situated in the worst place in Europe because it had a huge land and sea border with Turkey, which is also an external border of the EU, yet it provided good security.

Borissov also informed the EU diplomats about the talks he had held during his recent visits abroad.
