35th Bulgarian contingent returns home from Afghanistan

All 158 soldiers from the 35th Bulgarian contingent in Afghanistan returned to their homeland after a few days ago, the 36th contingent started the fulfillment of their tasks as part of "Resolute Support" mission.

Defense Minister Krassimir Karakachanov pointed out at the meeting in Sofia that the 35th contingent’s mission had been successfully completed, and the assessment made by NATO partners of the preparation of Bulgarian troops was very good. Bulgaria's contingent in Afghanistan includes a national element, a security company, a team of advisers and staff officers at the headquarters of the NATO mission.
