End of most successful Youth Olympics for Bulgaria so far

The last Bulgarian participant at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina - boxer Goryana Stoeva, lost 0:5 the match for a bronze medal in the 51-kg category against US boxer Heaven Destiny Garcia, thus finishing fourth in the discipline. After this final competition, Bulgaria finished its most successful Youth Olympics so far with 5 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Alexandra Nacheva grabbed the gold in the triple jump event, while titles in the team races were won by shooter Kiril Kirov, badminton player Maria Delcheva and acrobats Mariela Kostadinova and Panayot Dimitrov, who also won gold in mixed pairs. Silver medalists became weightlifter Hristo Hristov, the hammer throw athlete Valentin Andreev and tennis player Adrian Andreev in pairs. Weightlifter Galya Shatova and wrestler Edmond Nazaryan won bronze medals.
