A Memorandum of Cooperation on Security and fight anti-Semitism has been signed in Sofia between the Bulgarian Government, the Organization of Jews in Bulgaria “Shalom” and the World Jewish Congress.
The Memorandum is another step by which this country strengthens its consistent policy of protecting human rights. It contributes to Bulgaria's efforts to become a full member of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. The document was signed by Georg Georgiev - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Robert Singer - Vice President of the World Jewish Congress and Alexander Oscar - President of “Shalom”.
