Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva participates in meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs

Challenges to regional security, including in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, are one of the topics that NATO ministers will be discussing today and tomorrow in Brussels. The topic will be discussed in a joint session with Georgia and Ukraine. Issues of international security, transatlantic relationships, and Member States' commitments to collective defense will also be discussed. The Allies will also exchange views on developments in the Western Balkans, with special attention being paid to the Euro-Atlantic perspective of the countries in the region. Bulgaria will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva.
