On January 4 Bulgaria’s capital Sofia marks 141 years since its liberation from the Ottoman Rule with thanksgiving prayer in Saint Nedelya Church, flower and wreath-laying procession to the monuments of General Gurko and Tsar Osvoboditel and festive bell-ringing downtown Sofia.
