European Capitals Trade Unions Network holds its annual conference in Sofia

Under the auspices of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI), the annual conference of the European Capitals Trade Unions Network (ECTUN) is held in Sofia. The main topic of the forum is "Transport and mobility in European capitals - for better working and living conditions".

Trade unions from Sofia, Athens, Belgrade, Berlin, Valletta, London, Madrid, Moscow, Oslo, Paris, Rome and Riga are taking part in the forum. In a speech delivered at the opening, Bulgarian Minister of Labour Bisser Petkov said that modernization of the infrastructure and vehicles in the Bulgarian capital city was a key priority of policy makers in transport system development and improvement of the mobility.
