On the second day of his visit to Bulgaria Pope Francis met with children from a refugee center in Sofia. The children welcomed Pope Francis with a special program. The Holy Father thanked them for the hospitality and the beautifully sung songs and expressed sympathy for the difficult life of these children, filled with pain, because they had to leave their home country and search for a new motherland.
