European Commission spokesman Alex Winterstein said the position of President Jean-Claude Juncker on the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to Schengen has not changed, BNR correspondent to Brussels Angelina Piskova said. Winterstein said this in response to a question about the position expressed by Dutch Foreign Minister Steph Blok yesterday during his visit to Bulgaria that in order to support Bulgaria for Schengen, the Netherlands wants to make sure that this country is protecting the EU external borders well and that it effectively combats corruption and trafficking in human beings.
