PM Boyko Borissov meets with United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan

“After we intensified relations between Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), it is important to keep up the momentum and continue to develop the fruitful cooperation,” said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at a meeting with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

Boyko Borissov described the opening of an UAE embassy in Sofia as a positive step, and called for stepping up economic cooperation, trade and interaction in IT, agriculture, tourism, transport, security and energy. Boyko Borissov expressed gratitude for the invitation extended to Bulgaria to take part in EXPO 2020 in Dubai and expressed confidence that the forum will yield mutual economic benefits.
