Photographs and drawings of children from the “Filipovtsi” and “Fakulteta” quarters of Sofia presented the mythological story of the Golden Fleece and the Argonauts within the frame of the Medea Project. It is part of the art programme of “Plovdiv – European Capital of Culture 2019”. The team of the project organizes a series of classes with 46 children of Roma ethnicity living in the capital, with the aim to introduce the children into the world of ancient mythology and theater. The project also aims at their joining the Medea theater show, which will be staged in October at Azarian Theater in Sofia. The photos and drawings are arranged in the open air exhibition space in the park by the summer theater at the National Palace of Culture.  Photo: BTA
