Bulgaria earns EUR 3.7 billion in revenues from international tourism in 2019

Bulgaria’s revenues from international tourism in 2019 amounted to EUR 3.7 billion, which is 0.4% more as compared to the previous year. In December 2019 only, revenues from foreign tourists exceeded EUR 165 million, which is a 10% increase year on year, the Bulgarian National Bank announced. In 2019 the number of foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria increased with 0.4% to 9.3 million people. In December last year a total of 479,276 foreign nationals visited this country, which is 9.2% more as compared to December 2018.
