Different initiatives dedicated to the liberation of Bulgaria brought together the Bulgarian communities in different parts of the world.
“Awakening with a horo” is organized on 3 March for the fifth year running. The initiative belongs to Azbukari association and “Bulgarians united for Bulgaria” and it throws a bridge among Bulgarians living in all parts of the world who dance the horo together to show that the Bulgarian spirit is alive. Horo is danced in towns and villages across Bulgaria as well as in Bulgarian cultural centres abroad, at Bulgarian embassies and schools.
