The Bulgarian Red Cross is opening a national fund raising campaign. The money will be given to the National Operational Headquarters to coordinate measures for prevention and combating coronavirus and will be used for medical assistance and purchase of the necessary materials. The money will be raised via a text message (SMS 14 66), a bank account and online donations. I am confident that the Bulgarian people will show their empathy again, the President of the Bulgarian Red Cross Hristo Grigorov told the Bulgarian National Radio. The Emergency Hospital Pirogov will receive from the Bulgarian Red Cross two special tents. They have been already set up in front of the hospital and will welcome and redirect patients, Hristo Grigorov said. Despite the coronavirus crisis, the BRC continues its programme to help seniors in need with food products, Hristo Grigorov added.
