Young Bulgarian pianist Nikolay Dimitrov has received an international composing award. The 18-year-old student at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, the Netherlands, has taken part in the Artistes en Herbe International Competition in Luxembourg in the Young Composer category (16-19 years). He received the special Pianissimo Award, which is awarded by the ppIANISSIMO International Festival of Contemporary Clavier Music. In the next edition of the festival Nikolay Dimitrov's work "Children Suite" will be performed on stage.
