Bulgarian Olympic Committee welcomes IOC decision to postpone Tokyo Olympics

The Bulgarian Olympic Committee has welcomed today’s decision of the International Olympic Committee executive board to postpone the 32nd Tokyo Olympics until after 2020, but no later than the summer of 2021.

The Bulgarian Olympic Committee is convinced that this will guarantee the equal start and equity principles in the qualifications and in the process of preparing for the event which were seriously threatened by the swift spread of the coronavirus.
