Bulgaria's Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Desislava Taneva, has stated firmly that there is no risk of transmitting coronavirus through food. The Bulgarian authorities are following all the scientific opinions coming from different institutes around the world, and so far there is no evidence that contracting the virus via food is possible, the minister said. Regarding the strict measures being taken, Minister Taneva has commented that any higher level of hygiene is highly welcome.
