Kilometres-long lines of cars form at Sofia exit points

Long lines of cars have formed at all checkpoints around Sofia, the longest being the line of cars at the exit point on Trakia motorway which stretches for around 4 kilometres.

The lines of cars at the exit point leading to Hemus and Struma motorways, and in the region of Vladaya at the foot of Mount Vitosha, are around 1-2 kilometres long. To leave the capital city people living in Sofia have to submit a declaration at the police posts. 

Traffic is expected to be exceedingly heavy again on Sunday, but in the direction of Sofia.
