The Day of the Bulgarian Army also known as the Day of Bravery is marked today without the traditional military parade in Sofia due to the measures adopted against the spread of Covid-19. A march took place at the Vasil Levski National Military University in Veliko Tarnovo. “Even in the most difficult times, the Bulgarian soldier has always been the last and selfless barrier in defense of the homeland”, President Rumen Radev said in his greeting speech to the Bulgarian army. “The modernization of the Bulgarian army will continue and these processes are irreversible. The standard of the Bulgarian solder will increase”, this country’s Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov said.
