Number of Covid-19 patients rises by 1.1% per day

For the past 24 hours in Bulgaria 24 new cases of patients with Covid-19 have been identified. The rise is by 1.1%. At the end of the week, fewer samples were taken than usual - 362, said Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev from the National Headquarters.

With the new patients, the total number of people diagnosed with coronavirus has reached 2235. Out of these, 1513 cases are active. 6% of those infected are under the age of 18 or a total of 133 cases. Infected medics are 242 or 11%, and there have been two new cases in the past 24 hours. The number of recovered patients has reached 612 as 14 people recovered during the past day. The total number of people who passed away reached 110 as two new deaths were reported in the past day. Both patients had comorbidities.
