The principles of the Eastern Partnership for building a common zone of stability and prosperity, based on shared democratic values, remain relevant. The format must remain an ambitious, flexible and open platform, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said at a leadership video conference of the Eastern Partnership countries.

The partnership includes EU Member States, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The Covid-19 crisis is a moment of truth as it illustrated the EU's determination to support its partners in difficult times for all of us. The EU has provided almost 1 billion euros to its six partners, PM Borissov added.
