Magnificent pine forests, mineral water springs and mild mountain climate. The Bulgarian village of Narechenski Bani is situated in such a paradise location in the Rhodopes and is famous for its healing waters.

The place has been known since ancient times as one could improve their health and general physical and mental condition there. The radon-rich water has a positive effect on stomach, lungs and kidneys; it is known to treat stress, help the cardiovascular and musculoskeletal system, and regulate metabolic processes in the body.

In addition to being a place for balneotherapy, Narechenski Bani also attracts tourists with interesting sights. On its territory one could see three churches built by famous master builder Georgi Hadzhiiski back in the XIX century and not far from the village one could visit the “Wonderful Bridges” natural arches, the Bachkovo Monastery, Assen’s Fortress, and other emblematic places in the beautiful Rhodopes.

You can learn more about the healing springs of Narechenski Bani from an article by Albena Bezovska "Healthy Holidays at Narechenski Bani Resort."
