Citizens have gathered in front of the presidency building downtown Sofia for the second day to show their support of the presidential institution and the rule of law and their indignation at the actions of the prosecutor's office after the arrests of presidential advisers and searches of the institution.

The protest has been joined by workers in nightclubs and discos who lost their jobs again after all such establishments were closed on July 10 by order of the Minister of Health as a preventive measure for the spread of the coronavirus.
There is increased police presence in the area.
A counter protest was organized by the supporters of GERB party from the whole country in support of what they claim is a legitimately elected government.
