Bulgaria reports increase in number of tourists along southern Black Sea coast

The number of guests visiting the southernmost municipality of Tsarevo increased by 20%, although there are fewer tourists in Bulgaria during this year’s summer season. Hotels and other accommodation facilities are functioning at full capacity, the Mayor of Tsarevo Municipality Georgi Lapchev told BNR and underlined that the positive results are due to the good advertising campaign of the municipal authorities. All hotels and places for accommodation are fully booked until the end of September, Mayor Lapchev went on to say. The first charter flight with Israeli tourists is expected to land on the Northern Black Sea coast on August 20 after Israel lifted the quarantine for tourists travelling from and to Bulgaria.
