The European Commission has approved a Bulgarian measure amounting to EUR 4.4 million to assist the airports in Burgas and Varna.

The measure has been approved in accordance with the Temporary Framework for State aid measures to support the economy in the current COVID-19 outbreak, and envisages concession fee deferral payable to Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD, the company which runs the two airports towards Bulgaria which is owner of the infrastructure of the airports.
