Anti-government protesters occupy Central Electoral Commission building

Protesters and representatives of BOEC civil movement occupied the building of the Central Electoral Commission in Sofia (CEC), BNR’s reporter Elenitsa Marinova reports.  

They declared they wanted to attend the Commission’s sitting, and that unless they were allowed inside they would not let anyone else in. The sitting of the Central Electoral Commission started at 10 AM, but the protesters were barred from attending it.

Former Ombudsman Maya Manolova, who had stated her intention of taking part in the CEC sitting in advance, was also in front of the Commission building.
