During the weekend, the highest temperatures in the regions in the country where yellow code is announced are expected to reach 37 °C.

The warning of meteorologists for dangerously high temperatures is in force almost all over Bulgaria. The hot and dry weather will again create conditions for the emergence of rapidly growing and difficult to control fires. In the areas with code red announced, the danger will be highest on Sunday.

Three large fires broke out in the region of Plovdiv, BNR reporters have informed. The fires broke out at noon on Saturday and later covered significant forest area. Firefighters and volunteers have been trying to put the fires out.
