Quarantining entire classes leads to chaos in education, expert says

"Chaos and questions on how to continue the education process emerge when it becomes known that teachers or students are carriers of the coronavirus," Dr. Stoycho Katsarov, chairman of the board of directors of the Center for Protection of the Rights in Healthcare, has told BNR.

According to him, there were two options - entirely online training until a vaccine was found, or treating the coronavirus as we do with flu – those who are ill are treated and the rest continue to study without being quarantined.

"If children were indiscriminately quarantined just because they have been in contact with others, chaos in the education system would be inevitable and they would lose the year,” the expert added.
