A thirteen-meter figure will be placed on the site of the former mausoleum, the Sofia Municipality has announced. Venelin Shurelov's high-tech interactive installation "One Man" was selected in competition with 17 other projects.

LED screens will be placed on the figure, to which dynamic content will be fed in two modes. In the first mode, video surveillance will capture the images of passers-by and the large "screen body" will look composed of many smaller figures. In addition, every hour video streaming will be switched to full format allowing the viewer to apply his silhouette in the contours of the figure. The second mode will be generated by an analysis of weather information in Sofia.

The installation will be completed by mid-October and "One Man" will remain until the end of 2021.
