School excursions will be organised despite pandemic

Excursions for students are limited to one week and we recommend that they are organised at the end of the school year. The situation with the pandemic is more likely to be better in the spring of 2021, but we have no reason to ban excursions, Minister of Education Krassimir Valchev said during a trade union forum for education, BNR reported.

I do not recommend going on excursions at the beginning of the school year, but if you go, all measures must be observed. Students and teachers should wear masks - in buses and indoors, the Minister explained. He added that in schools the regime is more liberal, because 90% of the time is spent in the classroom and students may not wear masks.
